Base Woodfired Pizza - Little High menu

If you’re wandering through Christchurch Central City and craving something that feels casual but still seriously good, let me introduce you to Base Woodfired Pizza - Little High, a pizza restaurant that knows exactly how to hit that sweet spot between laid-back and memorable. Tucked inside Little High Eatery at 255 Saint Asaph Street, this spot is all about woodfired pizza done right, with that irresistible mix of blistered crust, bold toppings, and the kind of aroma that pulls you in before you’ve even checked the menu. The vibe is relaxed and social, making it just as easy to drop in for a quick bite as it is to hang out longer with friends. What really stands out is how flexible the experience feels. You can grab takeaway if you’re on the move, settle in for a dine-in session, or even opt for delivery or no-contact delivery when staying in sounds better. On warmer days, outdoor seating adds an extra layer of appeal, especially when paired with a cold beer or a glass of wine. The menu leans into variety without overcomplicating things, offering small plates alongside pizzas that work perfectly for sharing or keeping all to yourself. Late-night food options make it a reliable choice when other kitchens start to close, and the availability of alcohol gives it that effortless evening energy. There’s a steady hum of conversation around the space, and that atmosphere makes every visit feel easy and unforced, which is exactly what you want from a city pizza spot. As someone introducing this place, I’d say Base Woodfired Pizza - Little High feels like a go-to for locals and visitors who want quality without the fuss. It’s confident in what it does, clear in its flavors, and easy to enjoy no matter how you choose to experience it, whether that’s a quick stop between plans or an unhurried meal in the middle of the city’s buzz.
